Please note I am talking about setting up your website, which means the installation process only. Designing the website and creating the pages is another matter.

Here is a summary of how you can set up a WordPress website with Hostinger hPanel:

1. Choose the WordPress-dedicated hosting plan.
2. Select your website name. Hostinger gives a one-year free domain name.
3. Select WordPress as the content management system when building your website.
4. Follow the steps on the page to set up your website.

6. Choose a layout from a variety of free themes.

As the name suggests, helpful announcements are very useful. When I log in to my hPanel, there is a new announcement every week that provides help tips, tutorials, new features, and updates to existing features.

Since all the content is valuable, it is tempting to go through every article to learn as much as possible. Luckily, the Hostinger search provides an easy way to filter through the feeds.

When you click on the search bar, you can filter the content using the five categories:

For those new to web development or who prefer a drag-and-drop interface, Hostinger offers that service as well. It has its own website AI builder. It allows you to create pages and posts and design the site by selecting the color option for each block.

I didn’t use their AI builder. Even though it is helpful and you can develop a site quickly, there are certain limitations. I wanted more control, and that is why I chose WordPress.

2. Click on “Create a Website” and follow the step-by-step instructions:

   3. Write a short description of your website. A couple of sentences should do it, but be descriptive. It will help the AI builder to provide you with better results.
